Boot/Trunk question
« on: July 24, 2012, 16:51:09 »
In the Boot/Trunk, on the inside of the rear wing/fender is a liner - like the under-dash liner. It's a foam backed board thing

How is it meant to stay in place? - It seems to fit tight aginst the floor and the rear/front edges but there seems to be no lip on the underside of the top edge of the wing to clip it in place

Tosh,
I just had a look and mine just slots under the lip, It must be pretty secure because the plastic over flow tank hangs on it,  :-\

The tank has some lugs on the side, The tank hangs on clips that slot into the hardboard, When i took it all to bits to clean behind i sprayed some water on the back of the board to soften it and placed it on the floor under a weight to straighten it out a bit, Then when it dried it fit much tighter, Its sort of a push fit and once its in it stays there on its own,
