Is the all-white battery still available (P/N A003 541 3301)
« on: November 06, 2012, 23:59:11 »
I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to order the all-white MB battery (part no A003 541 3301) for my 230SL from my local MB dealer. They just say that it is now superceded to the newer version which has the black raised top.

I have sent an email to the Classic Centre to confrm but just wondering whether anyone has bought the all white MB battery lately ?

Thanks
Franjo

Hi,
I bought one a few years back.  It was dry (no acid) so I had to take it to batteries plus to have it filled.

If I remember correctly it was just over $100 for the batt and $6 for the acid....

Hope the classic center can help

Hi Franjo,

I purchased on from San Diego Mercedes dealership less than a year ago. They ordered it and it arrived from Los Angeles in just a day.  It's not overly impressive as far as cranking power but it looks pretty.  Your local Benz dealer should be able to order.

Hi Chris

my local MB dealer says that the all white batter (A003 541 3301) has been superseded by A003 541 330126 which has the white body but comes with a black top. However the Classic Centre in California still has the all white item but they are unable to ship it oversees........

Still available. The part number changes often due to different manufacturers and different lots.

That is strange Nate cause the battery that my MB dealer had was the white body but with a black top that has the raised sections on it, not at all like the white flat top style I have seen on well known Pagodas in this forum !

Would anyone know the replacement part number for the all white A003 541 3301 battery ?

Thanks
