As you are facing the motor, look just in front of the injection pump. There you will see a round canister that houses the filter. The filter is inside. Make sure you use a new crush washer on the bolt that screws in through the plate on the top. I've had good luck with copper or aluminum sealing washers in this application.
Use caution when doing this. No electric trouble lights around gasoline!!!! Best to do this outside using natural light.
