Garry

The colour code is #291.  I would say dark olive is a viable description.  One could also describe it as a darker version of British racing green.  Sam

Sam,

Check out the link in the Technical Manual tab on color codes... MB refers to it as dark olive. Same color as a 114 I once owned...

Sam it is a beautiful colour and was what my 280SL I recently sold was as its original colour.  New owner is changing it to a dark blue :'(

Gorgeous - although most Pagodas are primarily summer cars, there is just something about an autumn drive with the heater on :-)

I agree with you, the colour is beautiful and I get that from everyone who comments on the car.  Then comes the most asked question:  "Is it the original colour?".  I don't know why people wonder or care.  They would not ask such a question if only they knew that this is the one car that is very difficult to undergo a colour change.  As for the new owner of your car, good luck!
