Engineering Tags

Hello Gents,

As I prepare for a couple of shows this summer, it would be helpful to have some photos (my dream would be original 1969 280SL)of the location of all the engineering tags.  These are the stickers, decals etc.  I have some assistance from Bob Geco, and received some from Will Samples, but if anybody has a digital camera and a 1969, and would care to take some photos that would be helpful and also helpful for other restorations.

All of my tags save for the VIN were removed or destroyed in the restoration process.  I think I have most if not all of the requisite replcement tags, but photos of locations would be a big help.

Michael I have not done this myself although I have said stickers ready for when the time comes. I remember reading somewhere a fellow Pagoda owner doing this. One thing he did not do and recomended before applying these stickers is to clearcoat them.  :?:

Hello Michael, This topic has not been well attended to in this forum!
 I have bought some decals for my 280 Sl 71, But have no clue on where each one goes. Since you seem to have researched the subject  a bit, would you please Post ANY of your findings
