Crease under tail lamps
« on: March 03, 2013, 18:34:28 »
Hi All,
I am doing some body repair and have a question. There is a crease under the rear tail lamps and I want to know if this is by design or the bumper was pushed in at some point. I do see a little damage on the corner. I have attached pictures of both sides for your expert comments.

Any pictures from you will help.

Thanks

Yes it is by design, my car also has these creases, they hold the rubber seal in place.

In looking at your 2nd picture (with the arrow) there should not be a crease there. The Tail Light assembly fits into the recess and it is smooth contour below. Hard to show without taking my bumper off:-)

Thanks for the replies. From up I see there is no crease in line with the bumper.
