Missing pagoda hard top and soft top

Think of buying a 250 SL to restore but the hard and soft tops have been stolen , how easy are these to replace. The rest of the car is complete.

Hard tops are offered regularly. Prices are not that high, also in good condition. Soft top frames however are very pricey, for some reason. Posting in the 'wanted' section here and searching the usual suspects (Ebay etc) would be the way to go. Good luck.

Complete soft tops with frame and fabric are listed at SL Tech.  Not sure if they expect any exchange.    About $7,500 US.

If you are referring to the car in the link below - it is actually an early 230sl - seems a bit pricey

Was wondering why you thought it was a 230SL...until I saw the spare tire compartment from underneath.
