Seems to have been corrected. No reference to Budapest except in comments. I speak not for Roy Spencer, but ask many Americans to identify, locate or characterize many former [eastern European] Soviet-bloc countries (Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia, Hungary etc.) and I'm sure many will come up short...sorry!
BTW, it's Wausau Wisconsin, not Warsaw.
Michael,
Let's not forget Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and obviously Poland. BTW Slovenia, Macedonia and Serbia (as well as Montenegro and Bosnia-Hercegovina) were technically not part of the former East Soviet bloc, as they were part of Yugoslavia that played officially an "non-involved" game, kind of stop and go between the West and East.
Besides, There are about five towns named Warsaw in the States. Here in Poland we have America. During the communist regime this place was quite popular as you could take a pic proving that without leaving Poland you were able to visit America. Without a visa
!!!
As for the quoted website, I am referring to their homepage, where you can still see the mistake, not the actual article. I am such a pain, because I wrote to them and they superbly ignored my enlighted input :'(.
