Replaced seals in my "67 230 sl and still leaks. Is there a company that will rebuild ??
230 sl 1967 automatic
wht/blue  in the middle of comple restoration

Is this the power steering or manual box. If power, you can get a rebuild box through some of the vendors.

I had hoped to have mine rebuilt. But will look at some of the vendors ( I am sure they send the box out )

The power boxes are done on an exchange basis. You may be able to deal with someone like C&M Hydraulics to have yours rebuilt if the numbers on the box and data card are your issue with wanting your specific box. I would not count on this though, since I've heard that C&M usually does business through retailers only--worth a try though. An alternative is to try the rebuild yourself with a seal kit. There's someone on ebay selling the manual that describes the rebuild process and the tools required to do it. Not particularly difficult but you run the risk of finding some worn/broken parts inside that may not be so easy to source as the commonly available items such as the seals, bearings, nuts, bolts and washers.
