RHD Conversion

HI, I'm new to your group.
Can anyone give me an opinion about changing a LHD to RHD, I believe it's not easy or even possible, but if it is, what is involved apart from changing the obvious, such as firewall, etc.
Thanks.

I wouldn't bother it is just about impossible to even buy RH drive headlamp glasses at the moment let alone then rest of the parts required.

Firewall, dashboard and front chassis leg all have to be changed/modified. Getting the right parts is going to be nearly as hard as fitting them.

Self cirumcision with a rusty knife might be less painful than going through this conversion. :'(

Thanks all for the replies, advice, I'm still crying laughing about the analogy to circumcision with a rusty knife.
By the way, has anybody got a set of injector pipes for sale, also a clutch fluid reservoir ?

aussiebatler,
Suggest you put a wanted advert in as some people do not look at all items on the forum, others use the 'unread posts' link
By the way I have seen a left to right conversion and at the time did not pick it up. Thats how you lower the value of a LHD car and retain the low value for a non standard RHD car. costs more than the car may be worth at the end as soon as a buyer knows that has occurred.

Cheers Garry,
Thanks for that, yes I agree about the devalue. I just asked the question, but really didn't think it worth while.
