Just finished up about two weeks spare time worth of tracing out the circuits of the Speed Relay (the 2200/2400 rpm sensor) in late USA 280SLs with transistorized ignitions. It was hard on the old eyes, but fun, and figuring out how the circuits work was a trip. If anyone needs their broken Speed Relay fixed, please PM me. Should anyone wish to unload any broken Speed Relays you have, please PM me, I will pay a modest price for them. But make SURE it is broken. PM me if you need instructions on trouble-shooting this critter, it's easy to blame this little guy when it's not him.

I'm attempting to start a small hobby business repairing vintage analogue, discrete component, automotive electronic units such as 280SL Speed Relays. Not planning on paying the kids college education with it, just a self-supporting plus hopefully someday a bit extra-type business. If anyone has other broken vintage electronic automotive components that are not in heavily sealed or potted containers please PM me, I'd be glad to message with you about it. Thanks.

Rgds,
Wil
