Michael Romeo came out in his Pagoda and arranged for a photo shoot to be done by The Charleston WV Gazette. The Chip Ellis of The Charleston Gazette took many photos only 2 of them made the paper. No worries I snapped many more with my iPhone and you can see them in the link below the one from the paper.

More photos here by yours truly -----> http://rolf-dieter.smugmug.com/Memories-from-Williamsburg-VA

PS. Some photos are of Dr Benz in the red rocket taking the point, some are in Charleston and some are after leaving Charleston. I need to find out how to upload videos I've taken onto Google so that I may share them with you as well. More later meanwhile enjoy.

Dieter, you rock! The pictures are coming in fast and furious. Looks like the weather held for you guys and it's just wonderful seeing the line-ups of Pagodas. Here's hoping Sunday is amazing for you all!

Thanks Peter!

The photos are not the best as I've taken them with my iPhone. Nevertheless, I thought to share them with other members here that were not able to attend.

I've added more photos this morning from our "Fun Car Show" in the hotel parking lot. Some of us got up early to wash up the bugs from the long trip down here :) It was fun to see a bunch of us cleaning up the front end of our beloved Pagoda :)

I will add more later of todays car show at the Kent Winery ...

I know some of the members will properly post more professional photographs later.

Thanks Peter (pj} we had a wonderful day Saturday and we will form a line up at 9 am sharp to head out for the short 35 mile drive to the Kent Winery.

Weather forecast is nice for the day it should be a great show. I understand some 45 Pagoda's made the trip here with the longest distance some 900 + Miles a Canadian of curse all the way from New Brunswick Canada.

I will make my way home after the show end at 4 pm today the car performed excellent and I'm hopping it will repeat the performance for the 800 mile journey home. I like to think of having given the "Blue Tornado" a nice Italian Tune-Up  ;D

I noticed yesterday as I left the parking lot no oil leaks over night. Perhaps the gaskets and seals had a chance to do there jop after a 4 year storage in the previous ower's air conditioned and heated garage ... wishful thinking I know, time will tell. Meanwhile enjoy the photos. More to come later.

Edit, corrected some of my typos ... :)

Rolf-Dieter,

Really nice photographs. I hope I'm not too late, but if you can get some people shots and add their handles to it, like in this message http://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=18986.msg132718#msg132718 that would be very nice to share too!

It's gone really quiet here on the forum with all of you spending some face-to-face time!

Thanks again Peter,

I took many more photos on Sunday as well as videos. I just arrived back home safely and will add some more once I get the time (wife's wishes come first).

As for taking photos of Members and there Cars, it was way to difficult to do this since all have been wondering around on Friday, Saturday and on Sunday ... I think someone snapped a photo of me and my car, just cannot remember what Member it was.

Perhaps if I may suggest you start a thread (even a Sticky) with a Subject like ....

Challenge to Members "Wanted a photo of You with Your Pagoda"

In your text you might highlight that the tread will be located in the Full Member Board (Board accessible to Full Members only).

Start with yours ... and I'm sure many a members will follow suit :)
