wheel covers 280sl on 230 sl
« on: October 01, 2013, 21:27:05 »
Hi,

I know that it would be for some against the law. But I have a silver 230 sl with the right wheel covers (hub caps + seperate rings). But I kinda like the 280 sl full wheel covers more. Do these fit on the original 230 wheels?

best regards, Rudy

They do. And the good thing is that you can just go back to original in less than 5 minutes before a car show if you fear that tomatoes will be thrown at you by some originality Ayatollah.

And perhaps to make your car even faster and more nimble you would need a set of light weight aluminum wheels that take the full wheel cover.  Then just swap wheels for shows!   (buy some from me!)

I gotta admit, that's slick.
