I am repairing an oil water heat exchanger as was covered in this 2009 thread by
waqas:http://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=11013.25If anyone has performed this repair could you recommend a solder and flux to use and any tips in securing the brackets to the unit without ruining the perimeter seal? This wasn't mentioned in the thread, a radiator shop did it for
waqas. I have the unit stripped down... brackets off, the halves apart and bead blasted clean, see attached. I'd like to make sure I get a good solder bond and seal the first time.
