Pagoda owners should educate the public about these elegant cars whenever possible. An informed public can help generate interest and support.
An easy way to do this is by having an information sheet available at car shows. The story of these cars and a little technical information are greatly appreciated by the viewing public.
At one recent car show, my 'Take-One' box was dipped into 36 times by spectators taking a Pagoda fact sheet.
The links below in adobe .pdf and in Word format .doc are examples of two of these flyers. The first is my own wonderful creation, the second is the work of Michael Salami and is loosely based on the first example.
Please note the difference in style and emphasis in the content...and enjoy the story of Michael's uncle.
Also, note how both Michael and I have shown that the car that each of us owns is the best model. (How did we do that?)
Some of the images used on the paper copies had to be removed to reduce the size of the attachment. The paper version of the first flyer contains additional images of an oriental Pagoda temple and a car with the Pagoda roof. Michael's original has the Tri-Star at the top and the Pagoda sketch at the end.
The format and content of both flyers was edited slightly before posting here.
I use a small document box wedged against a front bumper guard as a Take-One box. Michael suggests an easel set near the car as another way to offer the information.
Enjoy the samples and please use them to create your own flyers.
