One very cool little detail is the notch that he put for the soft top cover release. Indeed enjoyed seeing these while in Willingen. Nice job, great workmanship.

Paul,

Would you consider making a set for me in blue? If so what would it cost? ... looks like you could make a business out of that ... looks real sweet!

Hi Rolf, I don't think I will be making any more in the near future as I have a business to run
which takes most of my time, but when I retire you never know.

Larry, the car is with Parry Chana at Hilton & Moss, it has been started but i don't know how long
it will be. As well as Goodwood is there an event in Germany next year?

Maurice

The SL CLub Pagode and Pagodentreff.de do annual get togethers- I did a couple of them with the former group a few years ago via the UK MB Club. They are great events but I don't think we have any plans to be with them as a group next year

As you know, we are doing the UK event in 2014 and, assuming we're all still here and keeping a schedule, the European end of this group will be on the road again en masse in 2016. '12 was the Ardennes (Spa), '10 was Alsace and '08 was near Amsterdam.

Maurice, that is a pity I think even if you engage some one in this line of work you stand to make a pretty penny for yourself. Perhaps start a poll to find out how many interested buyers you might have for this fine product. Many of us do travel with our cars and weight distribution to the mid section of the car is a good thing :) Just a thought my friend :)

Waiting for your retirement may not be an option for most of us  ;D
