Rust! Body Patch Advice Needed

Hi, I am looking at a 1970 280 sl for sale that has had some previous body patches (floor pan, and trunK)the previous work was done well, but I have located a rusty hole on the driver side inner fender well below the firewall down where the brake pedal/gas pedal are located.  My question is, are patches available (source?) for this area and can any competent body shop cut out section and weld in new section, and what is this likely to cost? If I buy this car, I intend to undercoat the undercarriage in POR15 in order to eliminate any future problems. Car is located in California and has a lot of plusses. I can buy this car for 10,800, cosmetically and mechanically, it is worth more.  Thanks!

Front fire wall repair pannels are available for boh sides of the car. You have to cut out the rusty stuff and then weld in the new part. Seal it up really well with seam sealer and then use a few coats of gravel gaurd until the area on the out side of the car is built up and level with the old material or undercoating. On a nicer car you could also paint on top of that to match the body colour of the car.

Thank you Cees, I am in touch with K&K and a good local body shop.  got to keep this old sl watertight and rust protected!
