Fog Light Bulb
« on: April 21, 2014, 02:48:33 »
I would like to know the type of fog light bulb used in 1967 230S. The owner manual states that it is 35 Watts, but, it is not clear if it is a regular bulb or special bulb. Is it sold in a regular auto part stores? Any other source is appreciated.

since the images speak better than words here are two pictures that should help.

Below, for the general use, I enclosed the list of MB bulbs with their references. Although the 35W one is not on the list, I thought this may be helpful for other purposes.

Thank you Flyair for the valuable information about fog light bulb. I have found a German source for this bulb, direct from Germany. Here is the link:
http://www.atpartsmotor.com/index.php?lay=show&ac=cat_show_pro_detail&pid=157148
It is a little high in price because they add shipping and VAT, that increase the cost by 30%. However, at least there is a source for this light bulb.

Zalsaigh,

this source shows some very interesting spares for our cars. It is located in Bangkok (Thailand) and not in Germany.
