2014 Snowball Rally - Red Pagoda

On the Bring a Trailer site, I saw an action shot for the 2014 Snowball Rally with a red pagoda with white hardtop.  Appears to be a european 230sl automatic with california plates. 

Is it anyone here?  Anyone we know.  I'd be interested to hear about any modifications done to the car.
