Tune up Specifications for 1970 sl (automatic)?

Hi, I just bought a 1979 280sl (automatic) and need the tune up specs so that I can tune.  Any online sources for this information?  This car did not come with a owner's manual unfortunately.  Thanks!

Need to clarify something, did you by a 107 body? 1979? or was the year a mistype for 1970 and a 113 body? as it appears in the topic line.

The Big Blue Book has a wealth of knowledge and includes the tune up specs.  The book is no longer in print, but can occasionally be purchased on ebay.  The electronic version on CD is also good and can be purchased from the dealer.  This also has an electronic version of the owner's manual.

sorry Jonny, I just noticed I typed a 9 instead of a 0.  My car is a 1970 280sl automatic, thanks!  I did not get an owner's manual with car, I know about the BBB, but was hoping to find a tune up page/document somewhere.  Thanks!

To look up your tuning specs, you need to know your distributor number.  Then I could look up the specs in the BBB and post it here.
