Michael Schumacher
« on: June 16, 2014, 14:03:41 »
With all the terrible news in the world these days it was sure nice to see that Michael Schumacher was out of his coma and released from the hospital in Grenoble, France. I wish him well on his long road to recovery.

I add my best wishes as well, we always knew he is a fighter and so happy to hear he made it back to his family. Best wishes for further  recovery so that he may enjoy the moments of  success he had in his profession for a long time.

Whilst it's great that he is out of the coma, "out of the coma" is still a long, long way from "fully recovered". I fear that we have seen the last of the Micheal Schumacher that we knew.
I have a picture of him that I took in the paddock at Spa, just putting on his helmet and stepping into the Benneton for his first race for them. I have never published it for fear that it will get used by some agency without my knowledge.

Stick,

What a great shot that must be. Last time I visited my brother in Germany I was surprised to see all kinds of Michael's pictures and posters displayed in his garage, he is a great fan of Schummi.
