I just noticed a puddle in my engine bay. I am sure it shouldn't be there and while I have sponged the area, want to work out how to prevent it happening
The puddle was directly under the brake master (booster) cylinder so am wondering a number of things:
- is something "out of true" to allow water to pool there rather than drain through a drain hole elsewhere?
- is there a drain hole under there which is blocked/not doing it's job?
I think I know how it's got in - car has been standing in the rain for a few days and am guessing water is running off the bulkhead and going into engine bay at the corner of the wing/firewall and hood. Why it stays there is a mystery (it's not a mystery as it's clear as day it's not draining!)
Any thoughts appreciated!
