which specs for Canada delivered cars? U.S. or Euro?
« on: November 10, 2014, 14:11:49 »
I just wondered about something here, could not find the answer in the archives. Were the cars sold new in Canada the same as U.S. spec cars with DOT regulations such as sealed beam headlights, side markers etc or were they selling the European model, or a different variation?
I remember my Dad bought a 220 SEB from a minor diplomat in the early sixties and he was telling me he changed the headlights because he preferred the Euro headlights, which to me seems to point out we were getting US specced models, but unable to tell for sure.

Easy......Canadian pagoda cars are the same spec as American. Vehicles after 1978 are metric in Canada and still imperial measurement in Australia, I mean United States :o
