value advice

I'm uncertain of what they're value is if I wished to sell them. They are in the UK and in good condition.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Miles,

There is a requirement that you must be a full member to sell items on the Forum.  Whilst you have not said the items are for sale, asking for value if you did want to sell them is considered trolling for a sale.  As a result, your post has been removed.

This is what our bylaws say

"Items for Sale
Full Members (only) can post Items for sale. Everyone can respond! Messages may be removed after 90 days. For non-commercial use only.”

Anyone that is not a Full Member cannot do a post there so we are finding the easiest way to get around that is to then go to the “General Discussion” area and ask for anyone to tell them of a value if they were to sell.  Called a Troll as anyone interested in the item will then contact the poster.

Earlier this week we an email and were told to shove our crappy little Pagodas where the sun dont shine because someone was seeking a value of an engine in the “General Discussions” area and was told that it was not allowed.

We as Moderators are dammed if we do and dammed if we don’t.  We cannot make one rule for one and another for someone else so my post was the same as was made earlier in the week for another request for value.  If the Associate Member would like to become a Full Member and gain full access to the Forum then it is still a cheap way to advertise their wares.

It was a genuine mistake on my part. I was unaware of the rule but I certainly wasnt trolling for a sale but only a value.
I can't see me becoming a full member as I no longer have an SL because it was stolen.

I am sorry about your car being stolen but did not want to appear to be doiing one thing for one and another for a second. However, given the circumstances if you do wish to sell the hard top etc, give me a PM and I will talk to Committee and see if we can do an exception given the circumstances.
