Caliper change from Girling to ATE possible
« on: September 06, 2004, 04:05:21 »
Hi all,

I have a 1964 Pagoda with Girling calipers. There is a set of ATE calipers, nicely redone, on German ebay. Since the repair sets for the Girlings are much more expensive than the ATE, I was thinking about swapping the entire caliper sets in case I am able to get those ebay babies at a decent price.

Would this be a straightforward swap or would it require other modifications?

Thanks,

Hello Juergen,
Yes the Ate calipers will bolt right up. It is am easy change over. The brake pads are even the same!
