Electrical wiring of terminal attached to oil pan
« on: June 23, 2015, 12:29:28 »
The wiring of my car has been modified through the years and I am working to revert to original. Have searched the forum for correct wiring of the terminal at the oil pan and found the photo attached but no wiring diagram. I will appreciate if someone could tell me what wire goes where from this terminal (a diagram would be most welcome). Many Thanks!!!

Hi,
this wiring belongs to the automatic gearbox, see here: www.sl113.org/wiki/Automatic/Start.

No, that terminal block on the RHS of the engine is for alternator and starter terminals.

Thank you WRe and Eric for your answers.
My car is a manual 4speed trans and it has such a terminal attached to the oil pan. Wires from the alternator and apparently from the battery run to that terminal. I am trying to find out the correct setup at the terminal.
