My Pagoda Wins Concourse d’Elegannce in Lebanon

The Faqra Club Second Concourse d’Elegannce was held a couple of weeks ago.
This is an exclusive mountain (Skiing) resort in the mountains of Lebanon.(2000 meters above sea level) and it was the first show  I attend and participate in Lebanon.
It was a beautiful August day, and I drove my 280SL early in the morning up the beautiful scenic road to the resort. I was one of the early arrivers, and I was amazed that there were already over 35 cars lined up, by ten o’clock nearly all the participant cars were ready in their places!
I was stupefied by the number: 91 Cars, and all were well kept/restored beauties. There were Mercedes-Benz, Ferraris, Jaguars, Corvettes, Porsches, etc.
I had never realized that there were so many classic car enthusiasts and so many cars in Lebanon.
The judging was under way all through the day, and when the results were announced in the evening, I was astonished that my car had won First Prize in its category.

Congratulations Mal

Seems to be a thriving classic car scene in your next of the woods. Also rallying, as I know somebody with an Integrale (Lancia) in Lebanon

Now get out and drive your car!!!
yours  (rather jealous) :D
