Caulk Type Sealant

I am looking for the caulk type sealant used on the windscreen trim and other areas. It looks like a type of butyl tape that does not set up like silicone.

What you are looking for is referred to as windshield re-sealant.

Thank-you Shvegel but this product cures and what I am looking for does not. It appears to be a mastic type of material and further investigation has proven to be a butyl product.

Hi,

This is what I'm using for window sealing. Does not cure and its pretty easy to work with, as you
can use a chunk of the material to dab off excess material.

Here is another very universal alternative. I am going to use this for the windshield seal and other areas that require a thick, non-hardening, easy to apply caulk ribbon. Also works great for sealing screws that go through the firewall.

I have used it for years and works great. Simple, cheap and no shelf life!
