Portland, Oregon Pagoda Mechanic Needed
« on: July 21, 2015, 22:32:19 »
I am looking for referrals to mechanics in Portland, Oregon for my 250SL.  It would be nice to find a smaller shop in Portland with people that know what they are doing.
Thanks!

Bob from Cascadia Classics could possibly point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the information Hauser...
Bob is in my area and I have sent him an email asking for referrals.  I love the 230SL restoration on his website.  I am hoping Bob can steer me in the right direction.

I have just come back from portland Oregon. I was at the Forest Grove Concours D'elegance weekend just gone, I was guest there for one of the Judges I know in Portland for CCCA who was judging on the Sunday. My best suggestion would be ask someone on the mercedesbenzclub forum. They were there this weekend displaying some lovely cars. I met  couple of Pagoda owners displaying their cars and maybe they could help you. I will post some pictures in the next few days when I have recovered.

Thanks
Dene

Not sure what you mean by "smaller shop", but..... Have you looked at MBI Motors, 1309 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97214

Hello Bicbiker...
Haven't been to MBI since Lanny Hamilton left Sig and started his own shop...then Lanny sold to Hartman and so on and so on.  Sorry I missed the Concours.  I do appreciate the mercedesbenzclub portland section recommendation...I will check that out.  Thanks for the input!
