Hello all, --- I PUT IT INTO "FOR SALE" SECTION
I'd like help and/or opinions as to what the value is of my late '67 250SL.
I'll need a price before I can list it in the for sale section or it apparently won't post, and that's fair enough.
So here's the text and 4 photos. Any help will be appreciated.
This car is a late ’67 250SL, 4spd manual. It’s a southern California car. Originally ordered new by my friend’s dad. I’ve had it a few years now, but I recently retired and simply can’t justify keeping this great car.
It still has original paint, (no repaint), with never any rust.
A rare color combination.
A few very small dings here and there. (Sure, the spot welds and headlight creases are there, as are the undercoat runs under the hood and trunk).
Colors: 716 grey beige body, 268 dark green top and hubcaps,
green MB tex interior (driver seat has wrong green color match, but comfy)
Ordered as a manual 4 speed, hardtop only, radio-delete car with the optional “kinder seat”, (I sourced and have the correct soft-top frame available to purchase, if you want).
Everything works and it runs beautifully.
94,275 miles.
I’ve done a few necessary mechanical repairs/maintenance as follows:
New tires, new “Mercedes” windshield, new dash wood, door seals, all engine coolant hoses and clamps, new German square-weave carpet from GAHH, a recent new clutch, full services and tune-ups throughout it’s life.
The car and I are in California.
