Power Steering Adjustment Bolt

While removing everything off the front of the 230SL to replace belts, hoses, water pump, thermostat and miscellaneous, I found that the power steering belt adjustment, or (tensioning) bolt, has been broken off sometime in the past.

Does anyone have a source that might have this part?  It looks like if I can find the part, it will require taking off the PS pump to replace it and repairing the carrier for which the bolt mounts into. Someone in the past must have really put a lot of torque to this part to break it and distort the carrier.

Does it sound reasonable to bring the adjustment up by using a crow bar between the bracket and the pump?

And speaking of belt adjustment, in order to adjust or remove the belt, is there two bolts one behind the pulley and one behind the PS pump to get this thing to release the belt tension? Or am I missing something?

It looks like it's available from Mercedes.  I think it's 180 466 00 74 for the straight shaft pump and 180 466 01 74 for the tapered shaft.

I have always adjusted the belt by tightening the nut on the adjuster and then tightening the lock nut.

If you are talking about loosening it enough to get the belt off, suggest instead you cut the belt.  Then when you put it back together, get the new belt started on the top and turn the crankshaft with a 27 mm socket and it will go on the rest of the way.

Yes, two bolts behind the pulley and one in the back to loosen the pump in the bracket.
