Watson and ctaylor738 visit Alfa Romeo museum in Milan
« on: August 09, 2015, 15:10:14 »
Flavio (Watson) and Patrizia Morosi with Diane and Chuck Taylor (ctaylor738) at the newly-reopened Alfa Romeo museum, August 4, 2015.

The museum has an amazing collection of prototypes, racing cars, and daily drivers.  Well worth a visit if you are anywhere close to Milan.

Hi guys. I'm glad I finally met the legendary Chuck and his wife Diane in Milan. Beautiful persons.
The two Alfas in the second picture posted by Chuck are two examples of twin engine cars completely different each other. They are divided  by a few years. The car in background is the 'Bimotore' of 1935 and it has an engine in the front hood and the second one behind the driver. The car in foreground, on the contrary, has two engines side by side, with two gearbox and two differentials. A single lever controls both gearbox. It comes from 1931.
The other pictures I post belong to models whose names are written on the side;  someone was a one-off model.

This was a one-off model made on 1913 by "Carrozzeria Castagna" in Milan. This workshop is still operational and makes one-off models on any type of body.
