Touch-up paint
« on: March 30, 2005, 11:24:55 »
Here's one I never see talked about. Does MB (or anyone else) provide the little touch-up paints for our cars? I have this small really old can of goo from a previous paintjob -- that passes for my color but barely. I went to a local paint store that does automotive paint -- they wanted $35 matching fee plus about $45 for the paint itself... This struck me as too much to touch-up couple hood edge nicks, etc... They have little containers of paint for Toyotas, GMs, etc but not MB.

Jim et al.  Try these guys:

http://www.autovisuals.com/

They don't seem to go back as far as we'd like in years, but a paint code is a paint code!  They do have Signal Red 568, for example.

I have bought from paintscratch and have found there products to be quite good. They offer a wide range of options and sizes for the paint containers/paint sticks etc.
