wiring og the regulator

hi all I have a 1964 230 sl which I think is a regulator its located on the right side of engine bay there are 4 wires going to it there is a red and blue together a single black and a single brown there is also a brown wire which im sure goes to the body. on the regulator there are markings    df   d- d+ could any one kindley show me which colour wires goes to which point on the regulator  thank you

You need access to the coloured wiring diagram in the Tech Manual but for that you need to be a Full Member. Full Membership does have its privliages ;) ;)

You should have full access once a Full Member to the coloured Wiring Diagrams.

yes thanks gary I have sorted that problem out with the colour electrical was a great help even got the alternator wired up as well but I just cant seem to get the coil to the distributer right I think I have wired it up but no spark at the points
