Fitted luggage vanity case, pictures required.
« on: September 23, 2015, 09:52:54 »
A couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to buy 2 genuine black hepco cases from Germany.
I have always been on the lookout for the vanity case , these must be the rarest items on the planet.
Even pictures of them are rare.
I decided to approach a specialist Luggage craftsman in Germany who can fabricate a close match for the vanity case .
He has one of my cases, he can match the moiré lining, the M-Btex, the hinges and even stitch length.
The lock will never be a correct match , i fully understand this but it will keep me happy for a while and i am enjoying the challenge.
It’s costing a lot of money and it needs to match the other luggage ,as close as possible, otherwise it will never look right.
Does anybody have a vanity case ?, and ,could you please post a pictures of the interior, mirror ,compartments etc. This would be of enormous help.
I have some measurements from a previous post, I know Craig D owns a vanity case.
For the record does anybody else ?

Hi Hauser

Thanks.
The picture you post plus this other one are the only photos i could ever find of a vanity case.
What i really need is a picture of the inside.
Hows your car coming on by the way ? is the work finished ?

My car is finally out of the paint shop and back at Gernold's place!  He hopes to have the car assembled before winter sets in.
