Control Shaft Connections
« on: December 03, 2015, 22:48:10 »
Hi guys,

I had to drill out the two bolts connecting the control shaft to the air intake and can't seem to find these replacement bolts anywhere. (see attached pic)

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Much appreciated,
Matt

Yes these are centering bolts. They have a tapper under the head to center-up linkage position exactly. Try to order them the MB Dealer or Classic center.  Otherwise find some good used ones.

450SL ( and others ) manifold studs will work nicely. You will need to trim some of the threaded end off the longer portion to the correct length.
