need some help
« on: January 11, 2016, 11:52:22 »
I am in southwest Virginia and I would like to find a mechanic to help get our '67 230SL tuned up. The car is an automatic with fuel injection. It has been sitting for quite a while and that might be part of the problem.

As always, any and all help appreciated, Pete

Hi Pete,

Go to the Members list (link below) click on "Location" once the table opens, then go to the page showing Members near you and drop one or two of them a line to find out the mechanic they are using.

Most likely your linkage needs adjustments I had similar issues when I got my car.

If you are lucky someone from your area will respond to your post. Also go to our Technical Manual and have a read in the "Linkage Tour"

Good luck!
