Bosch horn terminal block / wire connector
« on: December 13, 2015, 05:46:30 »
I would like to refurbish an old Bosch horn that has a broken Bakelite terminal block but the original ones (part number HOEA 4G1 X) are NLA from Bosch.
Does anyone know of a suitable replacement for these insulated feed-through terminals?

With some luck, you may find these in vendor stands at "Messen" (RetroClassics and the like)  in Germany; good repro items.

One idea would be to contact VdH and ask  http://www.mercedesclub.de/
/Hans in Sweden

Naj,
good idea, but I haven't seen a junk horn locally for quite some time, and on the internet they are quite expensive, and then add shipping for the heavy item!

Hans,
if they are sold at car shows (e.g. Essen) one would expect to see them on eBay, have you by chance?
I'll contact VdH too.

Thanks for all the PMs and offers but I have found a good used screw terminal.
I was also directed to this eBay offer and thought to post it in case others are looking for a new reproduction.
