230SL 1968 Alternator wiring

I have to re-install the wires on the alternator, but wonder why I get double  power wires?
Can any body explain or send me a picture of this area from his car. I have to be carefull because the alternator was not charging when I got the car....!

Almost looks like the second set of wires goes to the oil pan terminal block. Not sure from the picture.

Hi Thierry, As Joe said, it looks like it goes to the terminal block on the oil pan. Is one of the wires blue? cant make it out in your pic. Here is a pic.
