Round trip
« on: April 10, 2016, 18:52:09 »
We were 10 days with the silver pagoda in southern Germany on the road.
First it was five days at the Bodensee with Island Mainau.
Then through the Allgäu past Fussen and the castles to Starnberg.
Then we drove past the Tegernsee into Karwendelgebirge about Garmisch Partenkirchen and Oberammergau back to Starnberg.

Thank you for sharing - you have been driving the dream that many of us imagine doing "someday" - even though our ride is an ocean away. Nice to see The Pagoda in its' natural habit.

Very nice.

I know the Neuschwanstein Castle and have visited it (in a rental, not a pagoda) since I work for Disney!   This castle was the inspiration for Walt Disney in designing the original Disney Castle at the theme parks.

Hello Peter, great pictures! Have visited a few of those spots as well, but not in a Pagoda. I can only imagine what that would be like. As I recall, your car was originally from California. I bet it is happy to be back "home" and driving through the beautiful German countryside. Hope all is well you and my wife is talking about another cruise along the Mosel so maybe we might meet again :).
