pedal linkage......
« on: April 12, 2016, 22:46:04 »
Hi Guys
got all the engine linkage set well but from progressive part down I don't think its set well.
the rod going down to the pivot is under tension when I try to connect to the progressive linkage on intake.I tried lengthening it but its over extended no thread on the rod left.
should I lengthen rod #45?
the gas pedal also feels like its under tension.
anyone got a link on adjusting the pedal---firewall link---#45---vertical link to progressive block on intake?
in what order?
thanks

You may need to adjust the nut and bolt #51 and #53 to get your pedal and cross rod on the firewall in the proper position. The lever in this location is slotted for adjustment.

Erick,

When the accelerator pedal is on the floor stop, the intake venture flap should be full open. The linkage tour should get you through the rest.

There are 3 adjustments I am confused on how to adjust ( what to do first)
1-The firewall one with the pedal and what hole  to place the spring
2- the rod going to the engine pivot
3- rod from engine pivot to intake

Thanks
