I got a question from a good friend of mine regarding an interesting issue with a 280 SL:
"Hi, very nicely restored from Germany keeps glazing the points, no spark, has happened 3 times now, replaced points and condenser first time, since then, all have to do is scuff points with file..has proper resistor, did not actually check voltage at distributor..they are not wet, burned, discolored, nothing visual, just lose continuity, like usually happens if sat long time in damp conditions, but this in very short time..ideas??"
Any ideas out there? I did a full search using "glaze" and "Glazing" and got no hits.
Thanks
