Amazing delivery time from Germany!

The only place I could find the blue rubber ribbed material for the door sill of my 230SL was from SLS in Germany.  Everybody else had it in black but not blue.  I ordered from SLS and included a few more miscellaneous parts as well but nothing that weighed very much, total weight was under 1 kg.  They received the order on Monday, August 8 and gave it to UPS on Tuesday, August 9.  I just received it at noon on Thursday, August 11.  Almost unbelievable!  UPS usually takes longer than that for a shipment within the USA.  It must have hit all the UPS places in between at just the right time.

I am always apprehensive about ordering from overseas.  Too many things can happen.  But I guess occasionally, things can work out OK.

That's awesome. Wish I could find someone that reproduces the sill mats in the original anthracite grey. The black ones look too obtrusive against the 180G Silver paint.

You shouldn't be afraid to order overseas. When shipped with a trusted shipping company your package will be insured and traceable, if anything would go wrong you'll be refunded. I use TNT for all packages and I'm also very impressed with the shipping times, USA/Mexico takes 2 days, most places in Asia about 2-4 days.

The SLS blue-gray is the one that I ordered.  Looks completely blue to me.  Don't know where the gray in the descriptions comes from.

Anthony, I've seen their mats before. The one they have is a light grey. The original anthracite color ones match more closely to the trunk mat and rubber floor mats (no carpet).
