Under dash panels
« on: September 05, 2016, 19:36:31 »
I removed my under dash panels this morning in order to replace the foam backing. Luckily, the interior on my 40,000 mile 1969 280SL is completely original and in great condition. I took some photos to document the factory hardware used to fasten the panels. One photo I have attached shows the passenger side under dash panel removed, exposing the "firewall pad" material and the carpet with the MB part number. The other shows the driver's side panel before removal. I can email any or all of the photos to anyone interested in restoring or replacing the under dash panels.

Hi John,
Thank you for your post. I'm finishing the interior of my 1967 230l pagoda and do not have anyone of them. If you could send me the pictures you have I would appreciate. My email is caio@prontopastausa.com
Best regards,
Caio
