250 crankshaft question

Are the manual transmission crankshafts interchangeable with the autos. I know the 230s we not but not sure of the 250. Thanks guys

Basically yes,
but you have to rebalance them with the new flywheels.
A job for a professional shop.

They're not the same. The dowel pin on the end of the crank is longer on a standard trans engine. No balancing is required for late flywheels.

Thank you. I thought they were the same so as long as i have the later flywheel i should be fine. Great to be back on the forum. I have been away for a while.
