Last Drive of 2016
« on: December 12, 2016, 21:56:13 »
It was a cold, damp and miserable morning yesterday but we bundled up and went for a nice ride in our Pagoda (with the top up) anyway. It wasn't long until the jackets came off as the car's heater did a great job of keeping me, and more importantly, the navigator warm as toast. We will be busy from now on getting ready for the holidays so this was our last drive for the year. I would like to wish all the members of this board and their families Happy Holidays and safe motoring in the coming year.

Hi John,

I took my last drive late last month thru a one way park road. I often take a detour thru this park on a trip to the store for milk or whatever we forgot during our weekly shopping trip. Any drive in our car be it top up or down or with the hard top on is always a happy occasion. I envie indeviduals like yourself that had the good fortune to enjoy your car from brand new for all those years.

Wishing you and your Family a Wonderful Holiday

Dieter

PS. I planned to upload a short video I took during my last drive, however, the file is too large and I need to figure out how to reduce the size. Success from my Smugmug site.

Thanks Dieter, looked like a nice day there Ontario for your drive. Nice car too :) We are lucky here to have nothing but country 2 lane roads to drive our Pagoda on with hardly any traffic to deal with. We do have a freeway about 7 miles from home that we use for occasional commutes down the hill to the "Big City", Sacramento. We use one of our other cars for those journeys ;)
