Door lock
« on: December 27, 2016, 14:15:15 »
Each winter i have some items re-chromed and i will soon be removing some to take away to have done.
This year two of the items will be the exterior door handles but the passenger one has never worked properly since i got the car, i can lock it from inside but cannot lock it from outside with the key. Whilst i have it removed i would like to try and fix it.
Any ideas or words of wisdom to rectify this problem ?
The model is a '69' 280 US spec.
Thanks.
Ray

Post it to me and I'll fix it for you.
It is very important that you COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLE the tumblers before having the cylinder chromed otherwise your lock will be ruined.
did you see that "your" ski rack is re-advertised?
