PUB-Virginia Capacity Limit-Update

Hello everyone,

By now, our members should have received an invitation to PUB-Virginia and a link to the event site.  We have a great committee that has been active and thoughtful on how to put this together to meet the needs of our members.   The good news is that the initial response exceeds expectations and we are at about 75% capacity with 9 months to go before the event.  This validates that the planning and programming to date is well received.

On this point, if members have a serious interest in attending and are waiting to commit, I encourage you to act now.  As you may know, we are limited in the size of the group we can have and, as of now, there are only about 30 tickets remaining.  Here again is the link for tickets:

The reason we limit attendance is that presentations, demonstrations or technical topics are most effective when group size is about 75 people.

Our goal moving forward is to put on a truly outstanding event.  Each year, PUB has gotten better and Joe Alexander and the organizing committee did a great job in Blacklick.  Our goal is to continue the trend that Joe and others have established-making PUB better each time.

Just an update on availability for PUB-Virginia.  As of today, there are 11 remaining General Admission spots open.  Also, we've been told that many of the hotels in the area are selling out due to a football game at the University of Virginia on Saturday evening.  If you have not booked your hotels, you should move on this very quickly.

Just an update to let everyone know that Pub-Virginia is at capacity at this time.  You can still go to the Eventbrite website, click on tickets and add your name to the waiting list.  Here is a link:

A quick update and note.  If you are still interested in attending PUB Virginia, we have now cleared the waiting list.  You can go online and add your name to the waiting list and be very close to the top of the list for openings.

Refund Policy: Full Refund before August 1, 2017; 50% Refund before September 1, 2017; No Refund After September 1, 2017
