routing/securing Oil Press line
« on: February 04, 2017, 16:04:23 »
My oil pressure line is routed from the firewall to the oil pressure valve and is not secured or mounted anywhere. As can be seen in the photos, the line exits the firewall, transitions to a rubber line, and attaches to the pressure valve without being secured anywhere - seems rather haphazard. Does anyone have a photo of their oil pressure line showing the correct way to route and secure it? thanks, Charles

On my early 250 SL, the line is mounted with a bracket to the brake booster. Photo attached.

that photo was just what I needed.  hate to be a nuisance,,but would that happen to be a part number I see stamped on the side of the bracket?
