Venturi control/ warm water ring orientation
« on: February 05, 2017, 05:38:30 »
Hi Gents,
Between the ventury control and air filter hose, is a hot water sleeve/ring which is slightly angled.
Is this sleeve all side, same side and should it be angle to the rear or forward?
As can be seen in the foto, mine is angled to the rear and therefor interfering with full throttle movement.
Should the sleeve/ring be turned around, (kink forward) or should it be turned slightly down, not to interfere with the throttle movement?
Regards
Chris

Chris, It is installed correctly. The "kink" goes twards the rear of the car. You can loosen both clamps and twist it clockwise/down a bit to keep the throttle linkage ball socket from hitting it.
Just an observaton, it appears your throttle return spring is missing.

TKS Tyler,
Much appreciated and yep, I only have a spring on pedal side. I'll put one on the business end as well.
